It was purchased in 2008, but does not have the tunnel/canopy that some of the newer models have. The main tent has a fully sewn-in ground sheet. There is also a great attached porch, which has loads of windows for light, and is full height (so you can stand up easily in all of the tent). The porch has a removable ground sheet. This is a super area for cooking, eating etc. The tent is a great family tent, which has been used 3 times (for a week each time). We have since purchased a Khyam (quick erect), so selling this one off to get some space back in my garage! We have found one seam which wasn`t fully sealed (there was a gap of about 2 inches), which we have since sealed with special tape. You can have the rest of the tape as I think I found one other seam which has a half inch gap in the sealing (disappointing for Royal). Just being honest with you. This is a great tent for family holidays with loads of space. You could easily spend 2 weeks camping with this amount of space. Grab yourself a bargain (a new one has an RRP of over £1,100!).
