Location: Gloucestershire Added: 23/07/2010 Price: £ 250.00 Manufacturer: Conway Sleeps: 6 Year: 1982 Description: Conway Jayco Laser 1982 Folding Camper Awning also for sale Condition: Chassis -the chassis is in good condition / it is braked / working handbrake - working lights / electrics (there is a second grey cable for leisure electrics, but I am unsure as to the other end. - safety cable - two wheels and tyres (spare wheel, but spare tyre needs replacing) Trailer body - the outside needs a wash! / otherwise seems in good condition - the front box (for gas etc.) has a locked padlock that needs sawing off, so empty and locked - otherwise in good condition. - 4 x caravan wind-down legs with feet - one has cracked plastic foot (sitting inside), but a set of 4 feet is c. £6 so not expensive to replace! / handle to wind down the legs present and works well - catches all work - adjustable Trailer roof - Good condition - needs the seam cover underneath refixing - skylight - not sure, seems in good condition, assume it might have leaked in the past as there is tape on the outside, but peeling it back it seems as though it might need new mastick, but otherwise okay. - outside - the tape around the edge needs re-taping - Winding mechanism works very well - no issues / Winding handle included Inside - floor is in good condition - table is good & works (folds etc.) - cupboards in good condition - sink & grill / burners all seem good - but not tested - gas point for heater (previously on cupboard by door, but no longer there) - 2 x grill pans included - beds are in good condition with mattresses looking good (inc. plastic underside - you turn them over if packing away wet, so that the wet canvas doesn`t make the mattresses damp) - seats and cushions are in good shape and comfortable / you can sleep 6 with 2 x double beds and the table converting to a bed - Door - the lower section is in good shape - the upper section is good, other than a panel which is cracked, but which can be replaced - swings down from roof where it stores - the catches are fine and work well. / Door key - original still there and working. - Draught excluders for beds present / sleeping pods are there (at least that is what I assume they are!) Framework - Slide out beds slide out and back in again! / Props for under the slide out beds present and correct - these go from under bed base to the trailer chassis to triangulate and support the sleeping people. - frames at the end of each bed fold up to support canvas - both present and correct. - poles from those frames to trailer roof present and correct.
